Hollywood and China: Revenue and Responsibility

Previously Hollywood viewed China with weary eyes. Moth eaten theater screens, a land of piracy and censored to the hilt begged hands off for the center of American film. Events have taken a suprising turn as china has become the second largest international market growing at a staggering 31 percent to $2.75 billion. Up to 10 new screens are opening a day according to Christopher Dodd, who heads the Motion Picture Association of America. This number is set to double by 2015 he went on to say.
