Virginia Redistricting 2013: State GOP Rams Bill Through Senate In Absence Of Democratic Sen. Henry Marsh

On Jan. 21, The GOP moved to to pass legislation redefining party lines and giving them a super-majority. This bold move permanently eliminates 13 Democratic seats. The current 20-20 split Senate voted 20-19 while Sen. Henry Marsh was at Obama's inauguration. Gov. Bob McDonnell also took surprise at this game changer.
