Cuba opens one lane of Internet superhighway—inbound

Cuba is now joining the modern twenty-first century, well half way that is. The 70 million Venezuela tethered, french satellite connection has been recently turned on after it was finished in 2007. For the low price of six dollars an hour, the Cuban Government has been working hard to make freedom to the outside world as cheap as possible, as soon as possible, and as unregulated as possible via the inbound data only plan.
